TurnKey Linux in 160 characters

Alon Swartz's picture

Liraz just sent me an email which I thought I'd share, as well as ask for more ideas. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to describe TurnKey Linux in 160 characters or less.

Liraz #1

Save time and money with 40 ready-to-use solutions. Discover and leverage the best free open source software. Deploy in minutes to bare metal, VMs, or the cloud

Liraz #2

Best of open source: Simplified! Save time and money with free pre-integrated solutions you'll run in minutes on virtual machines, bare metal, and in the cloud.

So, do you accept the mission?

Hemingway I am not.

Hardware footprint and real estate, air flow and temperature management, Hardware expense, human resources, security -- Spare them and spare yourself.

I didn't count the chars but this should be close

Off the top of my head...:

"40+ ready to use out of the box server solutions. Some of the best open source server software availble, deployed in minutes for testing or production; bare metal, VM or in the cloud...!"

Thanks folks!

@rik - When I first read your suggestion I thought it was spam, until I saw you posted it and I had to re-read it.

@jedmeister - I like it, but it's 187 characters!

Did anyone figure out my suggestion? (those are not random 1's and 0's).

Take 2

Ok, this time I counted the characters and there's definately 160 (exactly):

40+ OOTB server solutions. Some of the best open source server software available, deployed in minutes for testing or production; bare metal, VM or in the cloud

PS I like Liraz's #1 best so far.

Similar to Liraz's: Open
