Hello,

Created LAMP server with TURNKEY in Virtualbox.

I installed Joomla and Moodle to integrate joomla + Moodle with a component called joomdle.

I did all the steps correctly, but does not.

The error is:

XMLRPC PHP Extension
Joomdlehooks User Plugin enabled
Allow URL fopen
Joomla to Moodle HTTP connectivity Joomla cannot connect to Moodle
Moodle to Joomla HTTP connectivity Moodle cannot connect to Joomla
Services web Joomdle Received empty response from Moodle

Would you help me ???

But newer versions of both Moodle and Joomla (and all appliances) will be available within the next month or 2... It might just work OOTB then?

In Google Translator:

Hello Jeremy, thanks for reply !!!
My problem actually is with the integration between Joomla3.x with Moodle2.x.
In checking the Joomdle, which integrates the two sites, the error appears, probably for some RPCXML failure.
In Windows, with AMPPS, I took the test and it worked perfectly.

I think something can be disabled.

Sorry I just quickly re-read your OP and I see that you installed Moodle and Joomla yourself...

So you checked the same versions of Moodle and Joomla On a WAMP and it worked, but not on TurnKey. Right?

My first guess is that there is a dependency that you need to install (which is bundled in your WAMP software but not in Linux).

My next thought was to check the Joomdle install docs http://www.joomdle.com/wiki/Prerequisites

Then with your info and the note about the error I did a quick google for "XML-RPC for PHP debian" (Turnkey is built on top of Debian). This turned up the name of the Debian php-xml-rpc - package: https://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=php-xml-rpc

So I suspect that this may fix it:

apt-get update && apt-get install php=xml-rpc

Let me know how it goes...
