TKL Patch Debian?

Hi,

This may be a dumb question, but I wanted to try creating some patches for new appliances.  Is tklpatch compatible with Debian?  My servers are Ubuntu, but my work station is Debian.

It would just be a case of add the TKL repo and try. AFAIK its the same version that runs on Hardy and Lucid so wouldn't be much of a stretch.

Having said that though, I'd be inclined to develop inside a VM regardless. I have an Ubuntu 10.04 desktop and still found it preferable inside a VM. Adrian has actually developed a patch to convert TKL Core Lucid into a TKLPatch Development environment which is probably worth a look.
