Why is TKL Linux AMI listed as "Other Linux"

Just wondering, Why is TKL Linux AMI listed as "Other Linux" but Bitnami was listed as Ubuntu?

Trying to understand the difference before purchase. Please respond. Thanks!

I have no idea?

Perhaps ask Amazon?

Maybe it's a field set by the TKL devs? In which case maybe they chose 'other' as they have plans for Debian based releases as well?

All just guesses...

Out of interest why does it matter?

Its just for show...

AWS automatically 'determine' the platform by parsing the image name. So, if Ubuntu is included in the image name, the platform will be Ubuntu. If Redhat is included in the name, the platform will be Redhat. It's just for show...
