Greetings,

Why is it if I change the "Name" field of the "States" section (leaving the type label defaulted)...

i.e. by default the name of the open state is 'open' and the type is 'open.'

If I change the name to 'Open' this screws up the SysConfig settings and changes a lot of the fields that default to open to another random state (i.e. closed (successful)).

But as soon as I adjust the name back to a lowercase model, all settings are restored to the correct name?

That seems abit odd; considering the name is the same.

See attached image.

However on Linux many things are case sensitive and that is generally the case. So I'm guessing that you have found something that is!

I suspect that you could probably change it to be "Open" instead but you will need to modify the internals...

When you say "You need to modify the internals;" where would this be? I am ok with it being lowercase; just was odd this is really the only area that causes a rift if the casing changes. (That I have noticed anyway)

But almost certainly within the DB. IMO if you are ok with lower case; leave it be! :)

If you want to poke it some more though, please be my guest...!
