Hi everyone;

I live in the UK and I've installed turnkey openvpn on my VPS which is located in Iran. before 5 days ago I had no any problem and it was working perfect. since then, I'm not be able to connect anymore and it will be stuck on authorising..! The funny thing that my friend who lives in Iran can get connected easily. In other words, anyone who lives out of VPS's IP range (Iran's IP) is not able to get connected!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the log:

For the record; I'm not particularly knowledgeable about OpenVPN...

From your post I get that it was working for you but isn't now. But also but is still working from another (closer) location. To me that strongly suggests either some issue with the software you are using (did you update something somewhere) or some networking issue between you and the server.

However glancing over those log entries; it appears that it is connecting successfully but then disconnecting again. It even suggests to me that it was transferring packets between your server and client. If I'm right then my first guess would be something up with your client software. Have their been any recent updates? Is your fiend using the same software (and version)?

I found out the problem! As you may be aware, there is a huge internet filtering in Iran and the government has recently blocked the UDP protocol. Now, I need to change it to TCP. I've gone through couple of tutorials so far but still haven't managed to get it work.

Could you help me with this problem please?
