v16.0 Stable Release #6 - & more updated ISOs, Hub, VM & Proxmox builds + rebuilt VMs

After a brief delay, I'm back with some more updated appliances. Despite the delay, it's only 7 this time. We should be back on track next week though; fingers crossed. As per the previous one, this next instalment of v16.0 stable TurnKey Linux appliances includes Hub, ISO, VM (OVA/VMDK) and Proxmox/LXC build formats. We've also rebuilt some of the previous VMs as it was discovered that there was a bug.

As per always, these updated appliances, are all published to our mirror network or they can be launched directly from the Hub (look for the 16.x text link - in the top right corner). Please note, we will switch v16.x to be the Hub default soon. They are also available for download direct from their relevant appliance pages (links provided below).

As has become convention, I'll first highlight the most recent releases, but then also note all the v16.0 appliances released to date. Unfortunately, I still don't have any updates regarding the remaining alternate builds, but the AWS Marketplace builds are slowly moving now.

TurnKey 12.1 64-bit maintenance release built with new tkldev build appliance

TurnKey 12.1 is out and it's the first 64-bit maintenance release to be built with tkldev - TurnKey's shiny new open appliance build system in a box.

With 64-bit support out the door, we've also pushed out a round of updates to the Hub so that users can finally deploy TurnKey on all instance sizes.

New Hub feature: Server snapshots

I usually get excited when adding new features to the TurnKey Hub. Recent excitement included server monitoring, reserved instances, domain management, and the Hub API.

I'm very excited about todays annoucement, not only is it awesomely useful, it's also technically cool!

New Hub feature: Cloud server monitoring

Ladies and gentle geeks, I'm proud to announce we've just pushed out 100% free basic server monitoring to all TurnKey Hub accounts. This should make it easier to keep tabs on the health and performance of your cloud servers. Existing Hub users don't need to do anything to enjoy this new feature. It just works.

A better server dashboard

As you can see in the screenshot below, the server dashboard now includes thumbnail graphs of CPU utilization, disk IO and network traffic for the last hour:
