i also would be interested, especially since there is some nosql functionality in it...at least just to see how that part can be used

As the is no Debian MariaDB package in Wheezy I don't see this as being a priority for TKL devs.

On the other hand, if someone wanted to develop one (perhaps using the upstream repo?) then perhaps it would make it to release prior to Jessie based TKL...
