Turn Off / Shut Down
Simple straight forward question.
Since initially starting the appliance, when I need to exit the appliance I have been closing my VM by click the X in the upper right corner of the VM Player. I found out that only suspends the appliance.
How do I turn off or shut down the appliance? I am using the LAMP flavor.

I went to the Advanced Menu.
I selected Shutdown.
The application shutdown.
A few options...
Reply 3If you still have the Confconsole loaded (blue background, gray foreground and black writing) then you can select Advanced (I think?) and then Shutdown (or Reboot or Quit - to quit Confconsole and go to the CLI)
Or if you have connected via SSH or Webshell you can use the Linux command 'halt' (without quotes).
Another option is to use Webmin, I can't recall off the top of my head where you'll find them but there are buttons for both Shutdown and Reboot
