Amazon retiring my TKL instance

Just received an e-mail from AWS stating that they wiull retire the TKL machine I am using due to "degrsded hardware".

What's by best course of action to migrate to a new machine ?

Any help / pointer appreciated.

TKLBAM and/or snapshots is the way to go

First time I've heard of such a thing. I'd recommend taking a backup with TKLBAM as soon as possible if you haven't already done so just in case.

Then, if your instance is EBS-backed, take a snapshot and deploy it as a new server. If it's S3 backed, you can restore the TKLBAM backup as a new server.

Also, keep the old instance around until you verify the new server is up and running.
