observium shows strange hostnames

recursive discovery doesn't work for the first level AMAP hosts names are displayed as
HOST1.............

HOST2.....\...3...

HOST3.O...f.......

Up till the dots the names are correct.

I am using php 7.

any help appreciated

And I don't think you're running TurnKey Linux, so I can't help (even if you were, I still couldn't help because I don't know much about the internal workings of Observium)...

I suggest that you try asking on the Observium mailing list. When you do that, you'll need to provide tons more info if you want any help. Like OS, Observium version etc.
