Magento vs. Prestashop

Any comments on which is better or PROs and CONs of either one.

Prestashop is a lightweight alternative to Magento

Which is better really depends on your circumstances. For large, complex online stores with tons of inventory and a big staff I would recommend you go with Magento. It's a bit of a resource hog though. OTOH, for simpler needs, I'd go with PrestaShop which is more lightweight.

Why don't you take both out for a spin and see how they compare? TKL makes it really easy to evaluate open source software. Make the most of it!
