php5-gd cannot be installed on y LAMP stack
I have recently setup VM TRUNKEY LAMP sack. I am planning an EMR Solution which require PHP_GD.
when I try "apt-get install php5-gd" I get a message cannot resolve . ftp.........

when I try "apt-get install php5-gd" I get a message cannot resolve . ftp.........
Check your DNS settings and VM networking. Check for a proxy or firewall between your VM and the internet. Try pinging the site(s) mentioned in the error.
Also just in case you didn't already, run 'apt-get update'.
