upgrade fresh lamp install to jessie

Hello

Are there any reasons not to attempt an upgrade of a new lamp install to debian jessie?

We need to use jessie for our mediawiki installed from git.

I'm not really clear what you mean. If you have a fresh TurnKey Linux LAMP (v14.2) install, then it already is Jessie!?

We haven't yet updated to Stretch. That will be v15.x.

If I've misunderstood, please give me a little more info about what your "fresh lamp install" is and what you are trying to achieve.
