Install to bare metal but can't boot from CD

I have an older machine that refuses to allow me to boot from it's CD and I need to install your core appliance. I have burned a CD but can't figure out how to install it.

FYI, the machine currently has win2k installed and only has SCSI drives.

Finally found a way to get it to boot from the CD but the install hangs after selectiong "Install To Hard Disk".

Same thing happens if I try the option to run without installing. Tried burning new CD w/same result.

As TKL is based on Ubuntu 10.04 perhaps you can find some relevant info re your hardware and issues with 10.04. You may wish to check out the boot switches available and have a bit of a fiddle.
