Running Gallery Appliance on Live CD doesn't work.

I am trying to run Gallery on a live cd on a PC that is next to me. The LiveCD boots up fine, asks me for a bunch of usernames and passwords which is fine. But when I go to the ip address I simply get the message "Error" with no explaination. If I go in the backend at https://ip:12321/mysql/ I see the message MySQL is not running on your system - database list could not be retrieved.

I am assuming this is my issue. I click start MySql but to no avail. Can anybody verify or assist. Thank you.

But it sounds like you are correct in that if MySQL isn't running then that would be an issue. Can you check the MySQL error log. It should be in /var/log/
