Problem adding new disk TK 11.3 / Ubuntu 10.04 / ESXi 4.1

So yeah... I've inherited a pretty old live environment and, surprise surprise, I'm having trouble with this installation...

In need of much love and updating!

Anyway, I'm trying to add another disk into the VM as an archive store.

I add a second disk into the VM settings (attached pic) but it doesn't show up in SSH session (pvdisplay) or in the webmin control panel.

Any advice?
