Update Keys: AWS How do i determine my External ID

Forgive me if this is a dumb question but ....

I'm trying to setup a role and policy in AWS. The instructions are fine

but I don't know what value to use as the External ID in step ...

Step 2D: Establish trust by linking the Hub's dedicated IAM user

What the Hub displays is auto created for you! :) So you just have to copy paste it into the AWS Console.
