5 months smooth sailing has caused a slight problem

Since these appliances run so well there is very little need after final tweaking to log in that I have forgotten my login and password. Is there a workaround for this? I have too much on the file server to switch now.

Reset Debian root password

Hi Greg, remember that TurnKey is Debian under the hood so if you run into a generic problem you can research a generic solution. If you have access to the console it is pretty easy to reset the root password.

Forgotten user acct, not root

Thanks Liraz, but it was more simple than that, I had forgotten my login but the root login worked just fine, I had made that one brutally simple. Let's all give thanks to the Debian god!! Root access, who'd a thunk it?

I truly love your products the more I get to use them and find other appliances that help me. It was great to see you rising on Distro Watch, I feel like I am part of somethimg special!!
