New TurnKey Symfony version (2009.10-2)

Changes:

  • Installed all security updates (see manifest for package versions).
  • Install security updates on firstboot (except when running live).
  • Bugfix: Updated apt preferences for auto-security updates (LP#550307).
  • Trick webmin into not checking for upgrades (managed by apt).
  • Updated di-live mysql mechanism and secret regeneration.
  • Included latest version of inithooks and updated scripts.
  • Included wget as per common request.

New TurnKey Symfony version (2009.10)

Changes:

  • Initial public release of TurnKey Symfony.
  • SSL support out of the box.
  • Symfony configurations.
    • Preconfigured project and frontend application.
    • Enabled Symfony app security out of the box (XSS an CSRF).
    • Includes PHP XSLT support (required for database access).
  • Includes postfix MTA (bound to localhost) to allow sending of email from Symfony (e.g., password recovery). Also includes webmin-postfix module for convenience.
  • PHPMyAdmin related:
    • Includes PHPMyAdmin (listening on port 12322 - uses SSL).
    • Includes pmadb (linked tables) advanced features.
    • Pinned PHPMyAdmin to update directly from Debian (security).
  • Regenerates all secrets during installation / firstboot (security).
