I am unable to properly configure OpenAM as its war file installed and started successfully. On standalone Tomcat OpenAM installed in /var/lib/tomcat6/webapps/opensso. On its first access OpenAM start its configuration which ends with error showing: Checking configuration directory /usr/share/tomcat6/opensso. /usr/share/tomcat6/opensso/.configParam (No such file or directory), refer to install.log under /usr/share/tomcat6/opensso for more information. Why it is refering to this directory. Is it OpenAM or Turnkey-Tomcat error.

Installed fresh installation of turnkey-core.  Then execute following commands:

apt-get update

apt-get install openjdk-6-jdk (this installed jdk, jre and lall other dependancies)

Downloaded fresh apache-tomcat version 6 zipped file; unziped and placed in /usr/share/tomcat6

downloaded OpenAM zip file and copy opensso.war from zip to /usr/share/tomcat6/webapp

started the server and done.

Everything is now working fine.  But why it is not working in turkey apache-tomcat and standalone tomcat.
