Hi,

I'm out of my element with MySQL

I have read that the following "Settings include query_cache_size and innodb_buffer_pool_size. Ideally, you'll want to reserve half of your servers memory for the database (or more)."

In /etc/mysql/my.cnf

I don't find these settings.  Should they simply be added?  Might they be configured somewhere else?

Thoughts?  Thanks in advance.
