Hi all,

we use Turnkey-Mediawiki 12.1 with Debian 6.0.7 (Squeeze).

With CVE-2014-0196 the actual kernel-version 2.6.32-5-amd64 is insecure and should be updated.

Are there any suggested pathes to update vulnerable kernel?

Thanks for answering the newbie-question.

According to the Debian Security Tracker, CVE-2014-0196 was patched in kernel 2.6.32-48squeeze6. As it's supplied by the Debian security repo the TKL auto security updates should take care of installing the patched kernel. However you will need to reboot to use the new patched kernel.
