It's a bit early in the game but once the project grows a bit we might want to think seriously about this sort of stuff. Currently the barriers to entry for Live CD appliance development are still a bit high so community participation at that level is unfortunately limited. That's one of the things we'd definitely like to work on to make easier. We have a few ideas (still unimplemented), and we are also open to suggestions.
