Hi all,

I am trying to use the webshell on my Turnkey Wordpress server (hosted on AWS) via webshell and am getting a "connection reset" error.  I can confirm that the security group enables my IP to access the port.

I am particularly keen to get this working so someone can help me administer the server remotely without me having to disclose the SSH key (.pem).

Any advice much appreciated.

Regards

Hugh

I worked out the answer: use https.  Sorry to post unnecessarily.

FWIW assuming you have password login enabled (as I'm guessing you do); you can use that via an SSH client (such as PuTTY; etc). Also if you want to keep things secure and use keys another option is to generate subkeys for the additional users. These keys can allow login but you can revoke them later without impacting your existing key(s).

Thanks a lot, that's a great idea.  I will do some research on how to do exactly that.
