Hello everybody!

Do you know if Turnkey OpenVPN Appliance 32Bit will receive release upgrades or update?

64 bit version is similar to 32Bit or 32bit will be abandoned in the future for only 64bit platform?

v14.0 was the last full 32 bit release of TurnKey. For v14.1 we did build ISOs for most of the library. v14.2 was 64 bit only. Our next release, v15.0 will be 64 bit only.

Depending on whether your hardware supports 64 bit or not will depend what your options are moving forwards. If installing 64 bit is an option, then you could probably use TKLBAM to migrate your existing server to the newer version of TurnKey; although personally I'd wait for v15.0 (unless you are on v13.x).

If your hardware only supports 32 bit, then v14.1 is the latest release available. If you're running v13.x, then migrating your data (via TKLBAM) to v14.1 is advised. If you are already on v14.x then you have ~2 years of Debian LTS updates to go. You could upgrade to the latest version of Debian (Stretch - what v15.0 will be based on when released) as per a Debian "inplace upgrade". Having said that I haven't tested it and can't confirm how well it would work (it should work ok, but there may be issues you'll need to resolve?)

I have 32bit notebook with OpenVPN (14.1) 32bit installed. I can't upgrade to 64bit for limited hardware.

Which date approximately LTS updates stop to distribute for 32bit platform?

So you can see from the Debian LTS page that Jessie will get LTS support "from June 2018 to end of April 2020".

That means that it is still supported via the Debian Security team for another few months (until June). Then responsibility for updates will switch to the Debian LTS Team for maintenance until April 2020. You don't need to change anything on your server, that all happens silently behind the scenes. Also it's probably worth noting that the LTS team don't have quite as many resources as the Security team, so updates may not be quite as quick. Although they do prioritise security, so you should be good.

Bottom line is that you should be able to continue running your current OpenVPN server until start of Q2 2020!
