LXC stands for LinuX Containers
LXC stands for LinuX Containers. For a full overview have a look at the Wikipedia LXC page.
The TurnKey LXC builds are primarily targeted at Proxmox VE (a Debian based hypervisor). We publish an index of available appliances, so users can download our LXC builds directly through the Proxmox interface. At least in theory, they should work on vanilla LXC too.
