I would like to see Open BlueDragon offered as a new TurnKey Linux virtual appliance. The Jetty/OpenBD bundle would be a user-friendly option with simple configuration to get up and running. Thanks.

No guarantees it'll make any difference (at the end of the day it's up to the devs), but may be useful if make a case for it. Perhaps at least post a link and a bit of a spiel including what it's about, what it does, what other software it's similar to (and/or better than) and anything else you think may help raise interest.

Also if you are super keen you could look at producing a TKLPatch for it and in the meantime we could package it as a community appliance.

This is old, but still valid.

Open BlueDragon is an open source ColdFusion Markup Language (CFML) engine.

It runs ontop of the JAVA stack, and gives you access to a solid, fast, scalable CFML engine for free.

While there are desktop options for developing using OpenBD, having a virtual appliance available to quickly set up an actual server environment would be very appreciated.
