TurnKey Linux Virtual Appliance Library

Ruby on Rails Example Apps

jonesypeter's picture

I recall on the previous Turnkey Ruby on Rails appliance you included a link to an example app. From memory it was a music managment application.  I recall it had a tutorial with it.

Can you remember it?

Kind regards

Tutorial has been removed

Yes, you recall correctly but that tutorial has been removed for a couple of reasons which make it irrelevant:

  • The new Rails appliance uses Phusion Passenger instead of Mongrel Cluster.
  • The app you are referring to is Tracks (a GTD application, not music), and is now part of our appliance library.

It would be great if the community could step up and document another example app for reference.

Tutorial: Deploying a Ruby on Rails application

I just created a doc entitled: Deploying a Ruby on Rails application.

Hope it helps.
