I installed the samba module form the webin and it seems to be working fine. I created 2 shares and cant seem to be able to login into them from windows. I see the shares but says I dont have permissions. I limited experience in linux so I am using the webmin for all configuration. I attached screenshots of what I have configured now. I did find out from another post that users and passwords for samba are separte so I all myself in samba as a user and still no luck. Help!!!!
Log file: Has my pc name as the file name but dont see errors pertaining to the shares.

I tried restarting samaba after every change and rebooting my pc on some. Not the tunkey lamp is installed on a separte pc not a virtual machine.
Note: I love turnkey linux, but I wish there was more documentation. I understand that samba isnt made by turnkey but there should be a manual on how to use it from there webmin.Forum:
Explain This!!!
I lost power 20 mins ago. After I made the post above. (power outage not related to post) I now try to connect to the folders again and printers and guess what it worked. I am assuming that after setting up shares in samba u need to do a hard shutdown and reboot. It is now working, go figure.
No need to reboot
but you do need to restart the samba service (which was acheived in your case by a full reboot). Webmin has a "restart samba" button if you are using webmin, or you can do it from the command line, off the top of my head:
