turnkey Instance deployed through the Turnkey Hub uses instance-store as root device, not EBS

It was my understanding that instances deployed through the new Turnkey Hub in Amazon EC2 would the EBS volume selected in the initial form as root device.

However, when checking in Amazon´s management console, I see that the new instance uses instance-store as root device and the EBS seems just to be attached to the instance.

Am I missing something? If not, is there a plan to use the EBS volume as root device in the future?

Thanks and congratulations for the great job you have done with the Hub.

I just realized that today.  I'd much prefer to have this done with EBS.

I understand there are risks with setting this up with instance-store at the moment.  What happens to the data if the machine powers down?
