LAMP xCache Username and Password (script requesting)

69wolf69's picture

Hi All :-)

I am trying to enable caching on my site and the script i use supports xcache which i understand is built directly into the current LAMP build. However the script asks me for the username and password...i have tried my default which saves...but then the server bombs out with a 500 Misconfiguration error.

Does anyone know if:

a) xcache has a specific username and password different to those used on Webmin?
b) if any additional work is required to enable xcache to work?

It does show up successfully in my php.info as well :)

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi All - Hate to poke at this

Hi All - Hate to poke at this again, but does anyone have any information to help around xcache?

Did you get this working?

In case you're still struggling with this, I posted details of how to configure xcache here: http://www.turnkeylinux.org/forum/support/20110913/configuring-xcache

The username that works for me is "admin", but I'm not sure what that relates to.
