A micro instance starts off with a 10 Gb volume. How can I give an appliance (e.g. WordPress) more space to grow in?
I know I can add a new EBS volume but not sure how to utilize it (not as good with Linux as I could be). I am assuming it is appliance dependant.

An upcoming Hub update this
An upcoming Hub update this week will allow you to configure the size of the initial block device. For micro instances this will be 10GB by default but you'll be able to define it to be anything you want.
Deployed update
I just deployed an update to the Hub that allows you specify the root filesystem size for EBS backed instances. You can specify any size between 10GB and 1TB when launching, and the instance will resize the root filesystem automatically on boot (usually takes a few of seconds).
GREAT NEWS
Thanks for the update, very timely
