TurnKey Linux Virtual Appliance Library

Moodle hosted on

I just signed in at www.vr.org , and created a Moodle appliance.

I was able to create it, Open the Browser (Firefox), and update my (admin), profile.and save it.

On trying to create a new course, I get the message:

"Error reading from database". On trying other options, I was able toadd a course, and edit/create the News Activity.

On trying to acces it, I get this error message:

Error: Database connection failed

It is possible that the database is overloaded or otherwise not running properly.

The site administrator should also check that the database details have been correctly specified in config.php

What dio I have to do? I am not atechie, and a new bee, pl. guide me what to do?

Have you tried editing the config.php to set permissions other than 750? I used 777 to test and it seemed to resolve that issue. Likley 755 would also work.
