Hi guys, pretty new to Proxmox and Turnkey, Im trying to spin up a fileserver (although i seem to get this error when selecting any option) and keep running into an "Unknown Failure occured" at the point of the script starting the LXC Container. Im not sure where I need to go to check logs or anything like that so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Daniel
Hi Daniel.
Looking at your screenshot I'm guessing that you are using the Proxmox "helper" scripts that are provided by someone else (I forget his name ATM). I am vaguely familiar with the project, but have never used it myself. So without digging into the code I have absolutely no idea what "1@212 unknown failure occurred" might even mean.
I suggest that you have a look at the basic issues that might occur. E.g. free space.
Beyond that, I'm assuming that the LXC template itself hasn't been deleted from your PVE server, so you could try launching that directly? If the core of the problem is something on our side, I'd love to understand the issue. And if it is something on our end then I could look at fixing it.
If it still exists (which I doubt given the message) please post the contents of /etc/pve/lxc/106.conf (the config file for the container that the script tried to create).
Beyond that, I see 2 options.
Launch the TurnKey container directly via the Proxmox UI. That's what I have experience with and use for development and smoke testing. Because I know Proxmox and Debian pretty well and TurnKey intimately, helping you out with that should be pretty straight forward.
Alternatively, if you want to continue to use the scripts you're already using then I suggest reaching out to the guy that maintains them and get him to help you out.
Regardless, I suggest reporting the issue to him. I'm sure he'd love to know there is a potential problem. I'd also be happy to work with him to resolve the issue if it seems like it's some interplay between his script and TurnKey.
Sorry i can't help more.
