Hey I have a new 'proxmox usability' concern. It has to do with the initial setup of TKL-wordpress. I typically name my local proxmox containers wordpress186.test where 186 is the last octet of my IPv4 on my LAN. I've been doing THAT for years. I think it would be pretty swell if we could SHOW the IP address when we name the machine. But until that happens, I've got a bug with 'tabbing out' from the console in Proxmox to go get the IP address so I can name my machine. i just duplicated this bug twice today. I had codex write it up, but it's pretty lengthy, and I don't know if this forum supports markdown Codex fixed it the first time (once I gave my credentials) So I basically get stuck with an incomplete URL (normally I would type in https://wordpress186.test ) But here, I've found the siteurl and home values were set to https://http: Modifying those two database entries doesn't fix the problem. Then I get 404 on the wp-admin url (in order to login) I wanted to go post on github, but I don't think I have permissions to post there or something. I hope i'm not being a pain. I just had 2 broken wordpress installs today, and I don't want this to happen to anyone else. Attached is a screenshot of the siteurl and home option being set to https://http:

I just re-tested after fixing the wp_options table I did NOT get the 404 that I received from the other site earlier today. So maybe I did some other step wrong or something. Yeah, so I can't duplicate this the second time. I'd still love to provide the big writeup I did earlier. This is no longer a show-stopper. I just think that the TKL-wordpress installer should be smart enough to detect https://http: as an invalid Url.
