"BIG PAT," the richly constructed logo reads block letters.
"Yeah, they call me 'Big Pat, '' or 'Big Fair,' or 'Large Duke,' or all types of crazy titles," explained Big Pat Williams, the Vikings' 327-pound Pro Bowl nose tackle. "I have pleasure. Always. I will always be laughing once I whip your ..." um, buttocks.
On or off the area, Large Pat generally finds a way to whip ... um, buttocks. On this specific day, he also headed a reporter and a photographer on his midday course from Winter Park, where he'd worked out and engaged in an offseason organized group action, to New Hope and Automotive Concepts, his 17,000-square-foot office from work.
Williams does not roll the sleeves up and pimp any rides. This will come four decades from today when he intends to retire into Monroe, La., which recently constructed home with all the nine-car garage out back.
"I always enjoyed cars," said Williams, who possesses 13, and, no, that is not a typo. "I saw these pimp shows on TV and I would say, 'I have better thoughts than what they are doing.' -"
Teammates agree. A Great Deal of teammates. And members of the Twins, the Wolves and other expert groups from coast to coast also consider in Automotive Concepts. Jeremy Luffey, another 25 percent co-owner and Williams' best local buddy sans shoulder pads, '' stated there are clients from no less than a dozen professional sports clubs.
They have come mostly through word of mouth.
"You should watch Pat performing his media around the locker area," said Vikings defensive end Kenechi Udeze, a normal client. "Let us just say you do not need to fret about Pat after he is done with football. Pat has a long time in whatever he does. I say he is a candidate to get a reality TV show. Each day, it is a comedy skit starring Pat Williams. The rest of us only add a little flavor to the series."
Glue to the group
He is big enough to hold his ground yet fast enough to zip ahead in a blink. Away from the field, he does not drink, does not smoke, throws an average dart and rolls out a bad bowling ball, though teammates say he is stretching the truth by roughly 40-45 hooks on this claim of owning a 250 ordinary.
Udeze shrieked. "Now that is a bold-faced lie. The remainder of [the Vikings' defensive linemen] were not any great when Pat got us started, and Pat was playing with his whole life. He is fine, but 250!? Nah."
Williams is also a sharp dresser, a small neat freak and an 11-year veteran who, at 33, leads the Vikings locker area in a sense teammates have in comparison to a big brother, as Udeze stated, "your high school soccer coach." Williams considers in coach Brad Childress, and vice versa, despite the fact that their initial impressions of each other were not exactly positive.
What's there about Big Pat?
(Hey, the spouse, Valarie, must have something with which to bag the kids - Crystal, 15; Alesha, 14; and Substantial Pat II, 2.) There is also the Dodge, and also the Impalas from '63, ' '64, ' '95 and '96, and ... well, you get the idea.
"I'd one Impala which Torii Hunter desired," Williams stated. "Every time I would find him he would say, 'I need that car!' I offered it to him"
Williams has offered so many cars to mates that he has lost count. Former teammate Marcus Robinson purchased three of these.
"When we are not playing soccer, that is what we do," Udeze explained. "We buy cars off every other."
"I do not hear him speaking about the cars, but each day that I leave this place, Pat's at another car," Vikings defensive line coach Karl Dunbar explained. "I feel that is the way he gets of his promotion. These young children need the fancy rims, the wonderful paint job, the speakers, TVs in their cars, things like this."

'We must move the chair back to Kevin'
According to its site, Automotive Concepts offers 44 merchandise. There is the Katzkin leather interior, toaster grills, suicide doors and stereo methods loudly enough to make you catch your ears and ask, "Are you currently at the Metrodome?" Except if Williams cranked up the sound system within his maroon Escalade, an individual could really understand the words, also.
"That is Kevin Garnett's right there," Williams stated. "We must move the chair back for Kevin."
Williams moves round the space also mentions how the business recently had to shoot a paint team. Mistakes are not an option once the provider is traveling all around the nation to pick up vehicles, transport them into New Hope, personalize them and send them.
"I know several men who ship their cars to Florida and do not hear anything for six months, Although they're calling and calling," Udeze said. " They know they only have one opportunity to create a fantastic impression, so that they do. But if a former [South Cal] teammate of mine such as [Seahawks linebacker] Lofa Tatupu calls me and wants to know where he could get his car done, I send him to Pat, and also the store goes and gets his car from Seattle."
Williams was included in two comparable stores in Buffalo when he played with the Bills from 1997 to 2004. He also sold his share in a single but retained another. After he retires, he'd love to maintain his pursuits in the stores in Buffalo and New Hope and open different stores, such as one in Monroe, La..
"When I moved here for Minnesota, and that I was staying in the Sheraton downtown, I would only get in my truck and ride around searching for stuff," Williams stated. "Nowadays, men ask me, 'How can you learn how to get around as you do?' And I say, 'You have nothing else to do the majority of the time.' Fundamentally, it had been workout until 12 and get in my truck ride and go get dropped"

Williams discovered Automotive Concepts while missing a couple of decades back.
"I'd just purchased a truck and that I had it customized," Williams stated. And I introduced everybody else."
