In the last trading session, the price of bitcoin hit a new all-time high against the US dollar, when it reached $57,500. The funds are there and BTC has good odds of surpassing $60,000 in the next week or two. Due to increasing interest in Bitcoin, the price is going up as well. Bitcoin continues to increase in value due to it breaking through a $50,000 price resistance against the US dollar. After making a good push and breaking above the $55,000 resistance level, the BTC/USD pair moved all the way to $55,000 and then remained above the 100 SMA (4-hours). For the first time in its history, the stock market has begun a lengthy price decline, from an all-time high of $57,500 to the current price of $51,600. The prices below $56,000 and $55,000 plunged drastically. The price broke out from the $50,634 low at 23.6% of the previous price level. A $54,000 gain this time around was assisted by the bulls. The retracement around the $50,634 low to $57,500 high had turned into a support after the $50,634 low, and then became an excellent entry point when the market headed higher again.
