Martin is the patriarch of the Thuna Family, former owner of neighborhood and family-owned pharmacies in the United States, Farmedics, Inc. in Chatsworth, California and Sav-A-Lot pharmacies in Woodland Hills. Before owning and operating Farmedics and Sav-A-Lot Martin worked in sales for cosmetic and pharmaceutical businesses since 1961.In 1994, Martin entered the health and wellness field and began operating multi-specialty clinics specializing in Orthopedics, Internal Medicine, and Pain Management. By 2000 Martin entered the pharmacy portion of the business, which became his primary focus. By 2008, Martin opened the family’s first pharmacy in Orange County, Freedom Pharmacy. His sons joined him in running the business, and after a long process, Flar Medicine was proudly licensed in 26 non-resident states. In 2010, Martin and the Thuna Family opened a wholesale drug business, Flar Medicine in California.
