Short Bio

There are Over 10,000 citizens released from America’s state and federal prisons every week. Often these men and women have completed programs to assist them in their transition to society. Programs such as RDAP(Residential Drug Abuse Program), a 500 hour intensive residential program focused on rational thinking and behavior modification therapy instills Prosocial principles and the 8 positive attitudes which are: Honesty,Humility,Gratitude, Objectivity,Caring,Responsibility, Open-Mindedness,and Willingness into the program participants. Many returning citizens face obstacles upon release and one of the major barriers is gaining employment. During the RDAP program, every participant must be employed, often times in the same field that we place them in. Before release, RDAP participants focus on identifying job skills and preparing functional resumes. Program participants have attended job fairs and there are seminars dedicated to “returning to work place readiness”. Malon’s Project Faith Works Initiative will work closely with RDAP and Life Connections graduates while they are still in the Transitional Phase of release for no less than 120 days. There are many benefits to integrating returning citizens to your workforce.
