Short Bio

Is it safe to travel to Belize right now? Belize is like candy in that it is both delicious and forbidden. If you decide to travel by yourself in Belize, you will have an amazing time. In all honesty, Belize was never one of my top travel priorities. Despite the positive things I had heard, the country felt more like a stopover on the way from Guatemala to Mexico that was more expensive. I met a lot of people when I was travelling across Central America who rushed or skipped Belize in order to spend more time in less expensive countries.
