Do you think that, given the rate of obesity in our days, nutritional pyramids and recommendations on the distribution of macronutrients in our diets have failed?

Interesting question, the United States Department of Agriculture has promoted a food pyramid and recommendations on macronutrient distribution based on a high carbohydrate diet. Perhaps one of the reasons why we are increasing the rate of obesity is that, unless a large amount of exercise is
