The "research" supporting the science and by extension the claims by this product are based from a 2001 study by Roodenrys et al and conference presentation in the 90's. In the Roodenrys CogniQ Reviews study the sample size was less than 100 people, 87 to be exact, but later turned into a total 76 (after a few dropped out due to adverse effects from the pills themselves). It was males=28 and females=48. They didn't find any significant findings from all of the tests that they ran with the exception of word retention task, but although the effects were "significant" they were minimal at best. Essentially, my recommendation to you is use common sense before purchasing a product that makes outrageous claims and also be weary of reviews that support it without question.
