Short Bio

 have curly hair that tends to get a little knotted after being washed but with a brief pre-brushing session, the Apalus brush went straight through my hair even though my hair was slightly damp from the heat protectant. It dried and straightened my hair leaving it shiny, soft, and feeling full. The only downside was that the full feeling came from my roots still being wavy though I expected this since one of the selling points is that it is anti-scalding so I can't expect it to Electra Hair Straightening Brush get close to my scalp which means roots not touched. Tilting and holding the Apalus brush by my roots did help with that some. But it does deserve 5 stars because it did extremely well for something I thought probably wouldn't work at all on thick and wavy ethnic hair like mine. I used it set on 450°F. I'll try to upload a side by side of my natural hair waves after I wash it vs. how it looked after I used the Apalus Straightening Brush but the pictures are from different days solely for the purpose of seeing what my natural hair texture looks like after washing. http://drozforskolin.org/electra-hair-straightening-brush/
