A Non Government Company is signed up as a Society under Indian Societies Act 1860. It takes a time period of one to 2 months time about for the registration of Society from the date of filing of the application. A Society is formed at both state and National Level. Minimum 7 members are required in the development of society for state level where in case of nationwide level development, minimum 8 members are needed from various state each. For society registration in delhi, one has to provide one member from Delhi with Aadhar Card in addition to one address evidence either electrical power cost or water expenses of any authorized area in Delhi. Rest 8 members can be from any part of India on the condition that every member should be from different state. At the time of registration, 2 pictures and address evidences of all the members are needed. Voter id card, ticket, driving license or aadhar card can be sent as an address evidence. Further, at the time of society registration, 2 members are needed for witness who should have aadhar card from Delhi. The Society can work in entire India. Generally, a member is not made it possible for to profit or benefit from his position unless the society document specifically enables payments to the member for providing services. A member of society may be ended from the society on casualty, composed resignation, unsound mind or if the member is found to be consisted of in any anti social activities or has actually not attended 3 consecutive meetings of the Governing Body without info or if the member is requested to resign by two-third or as near thereto possible of the continuing to be regulating body members.
