Your 2nd set of curls would then be completed using 50 pound dumbbells, finishing approximately six to eight reps. Your third and final set you would complete using 55 pound dumbbells. Since your one-repetition most is sixty pounds you must only be in a position to finish between three to five reps at fifty five pounds before reaching muscle failure.
