SeaLife.Gifts Makes a Contribution to the Ocean
There’s no argument that animals are fascinating. If we are able to be observant of their behavior, we have much to learn from them. The world of science has discovered a lot about the complex emotions of animals and many of those same emotions we as humans have in common. What’s more, our own lives can be greatly enriched when we attempt to achieve a similar perception on life as animals do.
The creators of the SeaLife.gifts website, Valerie and Tim Robitaille, often invest more than 20 hours in a week simply dedicated to volunteer work, whereby they seek to make our world a better place for the animals that we share our planet with.
Both Valerie and Tim have more than ten years’ worth of marketing experience. Together with this experience, and along with copious access to the internet and the capacity for product sourcing, and their sincere love for Mother Nature, all of this combines together to ensure that SeaLife.gifts is already the ideal alignment for resources, strengths, passion, and opportunities.
And it’s the SeaLife.gifts’ website that represents one of numerous ways that Valerie and husband Tim wish to utilize their talents as a method of providing benefit to the beautiful animals that are around us.
Thus, it is their goal to offer support to hard working charities through the making of meaningful contributions.
In Valerie’s and Tim’s effort to generate the largest impact possible, they donate a share of their proceeds from SeaLife.gifts. That share is based upon product or product category margins.
There are some products that come with a particularly low profit margin and are only sustainable with the base rate. On the other hand, there are other products that come with more sizable margins that enable Valerie and Tim to contribute far more.
On all products, the contribution begins at a 5 percent base rate, while there are some products as well as entire collections that are marked with a contribution of up to 25 percent.
Because there are so many terrific organizations and causes that work hard in providing some level of protection to animals along with their habitats, Valerie and Tim were unable to decide on making donations to one alone. Thus, they selected four 501(c)(3) nonprofits to provide support to, inclusive of:
- Coral Reef Alliance: The Coral Reef Alliance works with many peoples from around the globe in providing protection for our most threatened and valuable ecosystems.
- Sea Turtle Conservancy: The Sea Turtle Conservancy represents the world’s oldest research and conservation group for sea turtles.
- Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC): Whale and Dolphin Conservation leads the way as a global charity that is dedicated to protecting and conserving whales and dolphins.
- Sea Life Trust: The Sea Life Trust works to conserve various species of marine life, including, though not limited to, sharks, whales, turtles and seahorses.
