when I try to login to the hub to see my servers the site times out (or at least never login). Is this a known bug or directly related to my account? I have tried regular login, Google and openid (all of which should be linked to my account already) to no avail.

I only just logged out of the Hub (logged in about half hour earlier) and it was working fine for me... BTW I logged in via regular login.

Out of curiosity I just tried logging in again and it still worked fine.

Hi,

I have the same problem since last week with chrome.

For the moment everything work with Firefox.

Here is some part of an email with Alon Swartz where I give him information
on the tests I made.

No

I use email/password

Yes for Firefox, IE and with Maxthon in IE Trident mode.
It do not work with Maxthon Version: 3.3.2.1000 in Webkit mode.
I can't say which version of Webkit is use by Chrome and Maxthon for the
moment.

If you can log in with chrome version 16.0.912.63 I will probably test a
shorter password for my account. I use password phrase that are long.
Maybe it is the problem.
(I did not test that yet.)

Hmmm... it looks like the most recent version of Chrome turned on the "SSL False Start" optimization which seems to be the culprit for the broken login. Alon is planning to upgrade the web server hosting the Hub, which should fix the bug.

Meanwhile if you can try running Chrome with this flag:

--disable-ssl-false-start

We updated the effected library last week. I just double checked with the latest version of Chrome at time of writing (16.0.912.77) and I can no longer reproduce this login issue in any way.

Can anyone else still reproduce it?

I just reproduce it with  the same chrome version as you on windows vista.

It does not work yet.

I know it is probably windows fault....  ;)

We just deployed some SSL tweaks which should solve the issue, hopefully for good. If anyone still has an issue please report it (OS and browser version) - Thanks!
