I'm trying to set up SVN and redmine integration under TKL 11.3 redmine, as described in http://www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/wiki/Repositories_access_control...

Where I get hung up is in the Apache location /svn, where using I need the mysql password used by redmine. It appears the user is railsapp_user, but I can only see the hash in /var/www/railsapp/config/database.yml.

Is this a password I can change and then port to mysql - or is that not a good idea? As an alternative, do you think I could create another mysql user for the redmine db and use that?

Thanks,

The password is a random string generated by the firstboot scripts. So either resetting the MySQL password or creating a new account are options.
