Hi, we have openLDAP

# /usr/sbin/slapd -V
@(#) $OpenLDAP: slapd 2.4.44 (Aug  2 2017 17:18:28) $
        mockbuild@x86-ol7-builder-01.us.oracle.com:/builddir/build/BUILD/openldap-2.4.44/openldap-2.4.44/servers/slapd

in two Oracle Linux servers configured as multi-master servers.

By default we know that SSHA is used as the hash algorithm.
We want to change that to M5 or SHA in order to hash the user passwords now and then.

We use OLC (cn=config).

How can set the default hash algorithm to MD5 o SHA?

Thanks in advance.

We do provide an OpenLDAP appliance but we're based on Debian Linux so will have a much older version of OpenLDAP than you.

I could be wrong, but I doubt that anyone in our community will have the answer you are after. I suggest posting on the OpenLDAP mailing list.

Good luck
